John H. Moore. Mr. Moore is the Managing partner of the law firm Moore, Ingram, Johnson & Steele, LLP. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Cobb County Bar Association, Georgia State Board of Bar Examiners, Chief Justice’s Commission on Professionals and the Council for Quality Growth. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of First Landmark Bank. Mr. Moore is also active in a number of charitable and civic organizations in Cobb County. He and his wife Robin reside in Marietta.

Ronald H. Francis. Mr. Francis serves as President and CEO of First Landmark Bank. He entered the banking industry in 1969 as a management associate with Trust Company Bank of Atlanta (SunTrust) and rose to the head of the credit department within one year. Following five years at SunTrust, Mr. Francis joined the former First Bank & Trust Co. in Cobb County as Executive Vice President, where he served for nine years. In 1983 Mr. Francis was an organizing Director, President and CEO of The Chattahoochee Bank and later Vice Chairman of Chattahoochee Bancorp, serving the organization for 6 years. In 1989 Mr. Francis joined Charter Bank & Trust Co. during its inaugural year and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer for fifteen years.
In 1994 Charter Bank and Mountain National Bank, headquartered in Tucker, Georgia, formed Merit Holding Corporation and preserved their charters to operate as two separate banks under a common bank holding company. Mr. Francis served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Merit. In 1999 Synovus Financial Corp., headquartered in Columbus, Georgia, acquired Merit, dissolved the holding company, and added Charter Bank and Mountain National Bank to its network of affiliate banks.
During his fifteen years at Charter Bank, Mr. Francis and the bank were often recognized for their commitment to service to both clients and community. In 2002 Georgia Trend and the Cobb Chamber of Commerce presented Mr. Francis its annual Business Community Service Award. Also,in 1997-98 Francis had the distinct pleasure of serving his professional peers and industry as Chairman of the Georgia Bankers Association.
In 2004, Mountain National Bank and Charter Bank joined Synovus affiliate Bank of North Georgia to form one bank under the Bank of North Georgia name, and Francis served as the bank’s Vice Chairman until 2006.
Mr. Francis graduated from Eckerd College in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He later received his MBA in Finance from Georgia State University in 1972.
Mr. Francis has a long history of community involvement. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Marietta Redevelopment Corporation; as a Trustee of Kennesaw State University Foundation; as a Trustee of Eckerd College; and is on the board of the Cobb Community Foundation. He also serves on the board of the Marietta Schools Foundation and the Georgia Council on Economic Education; He is a member of the Chairman’s Club of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, the Marietta Country Club and Sapphire Lakes Country Club.
A Marietta resident since 1969, Mr. Francis is also a member of the Marietta Kiwanis Club and the Leadership Cobb and Leadership Georgia alumni associations. He has served on numerous community committees, and he and his wife Claire, who reside in Marietta, co-chaired the Cobb Heart Ball in 2002. He currently serves as chairman of the board of United Arts of Cobb, a 501c3 organization. In 2004, Francis was named Marietta Citizen of the Year by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. Other recognition includes recipient of the Glass Ceiling Award presented by Cobb Executive Women.

Stephen D. Cole. Mr. Cole has been the President of Robert Bowden, Inc., an employee-owned company, for eighteen years. As president, he serves in roles as both general and executive management within Robert Bowden, Inc. He and his wife Terri are active volunteers with The Walker School, where he serves on the Board of Trustees. He is president of Brown’s Cove Homeowners Association, and they reside in Marietta.

Richard S. Gardner, DMD. Since 1997, Dr. Gardner has been a general dentist with Austell Dental Associates LLC practicing as Richard S. Gardner, DMD PC. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Northwest District Dental Society. Residents of Marietta for ten years, Dr. Gardner and his wife Laura are members of the Marietta Country Club.

Andrew W. Jones. Mr. Jones has practiced law in northwest Atlanta for the past fourteen years, primarily in the Marietta and Cobb County communities. Mr. Jones is a member of the Board of Governor’s of the State Bar of Georgia and has served as the president of the Younger Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia and as president of the Cobb County Younger Lawyers Division. He is president-elect of the Cobb County Bar Association, where he also serves on the Board of Trustees and has served as Treasurer. Mr. Jones is also on the Board of Trustees for the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia and is a member of the Georgia Bar Foundation, the Georgia Trial Lawyer’s Association and the American Trial Lawyer’s Association. Mr. Jones, his wife Ashley and their children reside in the City of Marietta and are members of the Marietta Country Club.

Robert F. Krause, Jr. Since 2003 Mr. Krause has served as President of Newport Development, LLC and has managed all activities of the real estate development process for Newport Development’s various projects. A resident of Atlanta, Mr. Krause is a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church, Ansley Golf Club and Cherokee Golf and Country Club.

Linda J. McKinley. Ms. McKinley opened Key Staffing Services in 1987 after working 10 years in the food industry in sales and marketing positions throughout the U.S. Key Staffing was acquired by Office Specialists of Boston, MA in 1998 that merged with Randstad NA (based in Amsterdam Netherlands) through an acquisition in 2000. Ms. McKinley is a three-time recipient of the prestigious INC 500 award for fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S. where during years 1992-1996 she grew the company more than 750%. Ms. McKinley has been an active member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce’s Business to Education Committee as well as a member of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Ms. McKinley is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Cobb YWCA and of Cobb Family Resources. She resides in Marietta and is a member of the Marietta Country Club.

R. Pat McPherson. Mr. McPherson is founder and president of Hospital Pharmacy Management. In addition to his consultant business, for the past fourteen years he has simultaneously owned and managed several real estate investment companies, including RPM Investment, Inc. Also, from 1996 to 2004, Mr. McPherson was part owner, board member and financial advisor to Construction Systems, Inc., a gypsum floor underlayment and light weight concrete applicator company that was sold in 2004. Mr. McPherson is a member of the State Board of Pharmacy, the Georgia Pharmacist Association, the Georgia Society of Health Systems Pharmacy and the National Boards of Pharmacy. He is also a member of the American Legion and the Marietta Elks Club. Mr. McPherson and his wife Janet reside in Marietta.

James Z. Pressley, Jr. Mr. Pressley serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of ADB Group (formerly known as Transus, Inc.) The company also has other interests in real estate businesses, including Keeler Woods Joint Venture, L.L.C., in which Mr. Pressley serves as President and Chief Financial Officer. From 1980 to 1994, Mr. Pressley was Chairman of the Board and President of Multi Media Services, Inc., an audio visual services company, and is currently the CEO of protracted companies Multi Media Services, L.L.C., & Incom, LLC. Mr. Pressley is a member of the Marietta Country Club and the Cuscowilla Golf Club in Eatonton. He is Past Chairman of the Board of the Cobb Landmarks and Historical Society and Past Finance Chairman of The Walker School in Marietta. Mr. Pressley is married to the former Adrian Cortelyou Winship of Atlanta and they reside in Marietta.

J. Al Pond. Mr. Pond serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pond & Company, a multi discipline engineering and architectural firm. Mr. Pond is the past President of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia, the past President of the Georgia Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services; and has been active in the National Society of Professional Engineers. He has been recognized as Engineer of the Year in Metro Atlanta, and Engineer of the Year in Private Practice by the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals for Sandy Springs, and is on the Board of Georgians for Better Transportation (coalition for transportation funding in Georgia). He is a member of the Cherokee Town & Country Club and an alumni of Leadership Atlanta. Mr. Pond has been active in United Way where he directed the campaign for engineering firms in Metro Atlanta, and the Atlanta Heart Fund.

William D. Smith, Jr. A Marietta native, Mr. Smith is Vice President of Little & Smith, Inc., an independent insurance agency with a long history in the Marietta/Cobb County community. Mr. Smith is a member of Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia and serves on the industry’s Advisory Council in Selective Insurance, Builders Insurance and CNA Insurance.Mr. Smith serves on the Board of Directors of the Buckhead Baseball Association, the Atlanta Junior Golf Association and Pace Academy. Mr. Smith’s civic and social affiliations include Rotary and the Atlanta Forum and the Marietta Country Club, the Capital City Club and the Peachtree Country Club. Mr. Smith, his wife Julie and their family reside in Atlanta.

Fred Wood (“Woody”) Snell, III. Mr. Snell is a partner with The Pacific Group which has developed a number of communities in Metro Atlanta. Mr. Snell’s community involvement includes both personal and professional interests. He is the past president of Friends for East Cobb Park and has served with the Cobb County Habitat for Humanity and the Metro North Youth Soccer Association in various roles. Professionally he has served the Cobb County Soil and Water Conservation District as Chairman, the Cobb County Development Standards Committee, the State of Georgia Erosion and Sediment Technical Committee, the Fulton County Watershed Initiative Committee and is past vice chairman of the Fulton County Development Advisory Committee. Mr. Snell is married to Joy Johnson Snell. They have two children and reside in East Cobb in Marietta.

David B. Swales. For more than thirty years Mr. Swales has provided quality workmanship as a developer and builder in many prestigious communities throughout Cobb and Fulton Counties. Mr. Swales began building in Cobb County in 1985 through his company Province Properties, Inc. and later established Province Development, Inc. In addition, he is currently the member manager of several LLCs within his industry, including Province Grading, LLC and Province Cabinets, LLC, as well as other LLCs formed for specific development projects. Mr. Swales’ honors include several professionalism awards from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, of which he is a member. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the Cobb County Home Builders Association. Mr. Swales is a long time resident of Cobb County and a member of the Marietta Country Club.

Nicholas W. Massengill. Mr. Massengill serves as Director and Vice President of Sales of Marketing with Robert Bowden, Inc. Nick has maintained a leadership role in the building materials industry and is often called on to speak on industry issues. Mr. Massengill currently serves on a steering committee for the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University. He currently serves as an advisor to the industry’s leading trade journal. Mr. Massengill is active in the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and is currently serving on the Executive Board of the Cobb Chapter, which has honored him as their Associate of the Year four times.
He is a member of Cobb Landmarks and the Cobb Historical Society and is an active volunteer for Cobb Christmas and Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Massengill resides in Marietta with his wife, Angela, and two children.
