First Landmark Bank opened in March 2008 as a state-chartered bank in a temporary office just south of the historic Marietta Square. Bank veteran Ron Francis and local attorney John Moore joined together to identify the Bank’s fourteen original organizing directors, who continue to serve on the Board of Directors today.

In addition, they sought an executive leadership team with strong experience in community banking. The Board added Chief Lending Officer Terri Bunten and Chief Financial Officer Terry DeWitt to orchestrate the Bank’s opening, manage the day-to-day bank operations and participate in the Bank’s strategic planning.

In July 2010, First Landmark Bank relocated to its new corporate headquarters and main banking office. The new building, architecturally inspired by the old Cobb County courthouse, is located on the North Marietta Parkway. The beautiful new building is a landmark on a gateway to the City’s center.

Since inception the Bank and its staff have enjoyed giving back to the community through sponsorships, volunteerism, donations and leadership. Each employee looks forward to serving the Marietta, Cobb and northwest Atlanta community for many years to come.
